Inspired by an ancient sculpture called Venus of Willendorf, this goddess' shape and silky smooth finish make her a talisman you will often want to touch when you are not playing a melody.

She is almost three inches in length and is tuned with an open tuning system: usually minor pentatonic, less often hijaz.  Depending on the mode, it can have from four to six holes.
